Walking Club Meet Up: Cosumnes River Preserve

We’re thrilled to invite you to our next Monthly Walking Group meet-up! This time, we’re bringing back one of our favorite activities from last year—a guided bird-watching tour at the beautiful Cosumnes River Preserve. This preserve is only a short distance from our community and is filled with all sorts of wildlife and biodiversity. We will be able to get our steps in and enjoy the calm tranquility of the preserve.

We’ll be joined by Bill from the National Audubon Society, who will guide us through the preserve and share his incredible knowledge about the local bird species. When we first visited back in June, Bill mentioned how winter has different birds around and that it is a great time to see some rare ones.

We will meet at the sales gallery at 9:50 a.m. to carpool to the preserve. The preserve address is 13501 Franklin Blvd. Bill will be providing binoculars for us to use. It may be muddy, so please make sure to dress appropriately.
